Our family came to Carlsbad to visit Legoland and Grand Pacific Palisades was a great place to stay. They had a deal for a two night stay that came with two hopper passes for Legoland and the accompanying water park. It was a great deal and the kids had a blast. The hotel's accommodations were fantastic! The grounds were really well kept and there were plenty of activities and amenities, not to mention it was walking distance from the theme park. Highly recommended!

We just stayed afull week in a two bedroom condo with a full kitchen on the top (3rd) floor with a great ocean view (Villa C). The sunsets were fantastic which we enjoyed from our balcony with a glass of wine which we got at Costco. We saved a lot of money not having to eat out all the time as the kitchen is fully equiped and the refrigerator is full sized. And there are many BBQ's to use around the resort. We have stayed at this resort many times over the last ten years including 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. All are spacious...just like home and not a cramped hotel room. Our kids love this resort including the pool, fire rings, playground, game room, basketball court and all the activities run by the resort. GPP is our kids favorite resort in the area. We plan to be back soon. We have always stayed in the condos and never at the hotel side of the resort so we cannot comment on that. The room we had was recently refurbished and the king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. All of our guest also were comfortable in the other beds and the new couch bed. We had a full house with extended family coming and going all week. They have a flat screen TV in the living room and CRT's in the bedrooms. The larger one bedrooms have a separate walk-in shower and all the other units have the tub showers....we wish all the units had walk-in showers. The staff was very friendly and the cleaning staff stopped by our room everyday to see if we needed new towels and to empty the trash or to give us more coffee and condiments. The front desk was very helpful.

I just loved the rooms and the layout of this property. Free underground parking with easy elevator access to all rooms. I loved the fact that it has an adult pool separate from the kids area. The view from our room was breath taking. We went on very short notice and were very pleased with all the amenaties. Close to great shopping, dining, San Diego, LA. We we be back for sure!

My husband, 2 small children and I stumbled upon this hotel via the internet. We stayed in a one bedroom condo which was absolutely ideal for a family. There was a large and completely equipped kitchen. The room was extremely spacious and well maintained. I'm trying to book another stay this summer, but can't find a similar room :(
