Chain hotels in Long Beach tend to be more expensive than those in Los Angeles so I found this one kind of pricey. The front desk folks were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The day we checked in the hot tub was working but the next day it was broken. I can't believe how many hotels have broken hot tubs! That was very disappointing. Don't plan on watching much TV unless you don't mind paying for it. This is my biggest complaint. For basic TV there was a listing of channels but no listing of what was being shown and when on those channels. The other 'Free' listings were very brief excerpts of movies and talk programs. Everything else cost money. I was amazed. The more inexpensive hotels provide free TV and listings. For the purpose of my stay in Long Beach lacking TV and hot tub were big disappointments. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel.

I got a great deal on this Long Beach Hotel -- and now I know why, it is a long way away from the restaurant and waterfront district and in a neighborhood I would feel uncomfortable walking around in. But, they offered a "you call we haul" shuttle service to the waterfront with drop off and pickup at the restaurant or club of your choice. Very responsive.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room was clean and the employees very friendly. I used the computer in lobby and was able to print boarding passes for my flight back home. I used the Jacuzzi on the first night and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay again if I'm back in the area.

I was pleasantly suprised at this hotel. Initially the location freaked me out but once there it's clean, safe, and the staff is professional and courteous. The bonus is that they have the free shuttle, we went to the waterfront and they picked us up in a clean well maintained van. Will stay again.

I picked a non-smoking room but while walking towards my room on the 4th floor it smells like smoke all the way to my door. The room was clean and comfortable but all night and day you can hear sirens, which made me feel unsafe. The bath sink is really tiny and was separated from the toilet and shower. OMG, after I took my 1st shower the water did not even drain down. I am never going back.
