I'm in the Army and was here on leisure. The hotel services (housekeeping, front desk, bell captain, rm service etc.) are all good. The hotel rooms are great on cleanliness but lack the essentials such as a microwave and a refrigerator so the quality of the room is okay. The gimmick to get the hotel guests to spend more by ordering room service. I don't recommend staying here for leisure but business is fine. The parking is definitely overpriced, being $* a night.

Will be going back to Cali in a few months and plan to stay there again. Nothing but a great experience. Only complaint I have is that the parking is over-priced and so is the WIFI. 4 nights parking cost me *!!! There are free shuttles in the district that will take you to many of the local attractions plus for a fee an airport shuttle so it will be easier to save on rental cars and parking on my next trip. Will just rent a car for the days I actually need it. So many things within walking distance.

We stayed here last year for the Long Beach Marathon, since it was the host hotel. The pool and hot tub were open on Saturday night, but on Sunday when we got back from the marathon and my husband wanted to relax from the race, they had closed the pool area and had it emptied! They said it was mandated by law, but really you needed to do that on the day of the marathon? We got not money back and were told to go up the street to the Marriott to use their pool, so guess where we are staying this year?

Great location, beautiful views. Upon early check in requested a harbor view, easily accommodated. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Additional fees for internet and hotel parking. Nice pool. Convenient coffee shop/snack bar open in the morning. Great place for a quick breakfast and reasonably priced. Would stay there again.
