We loved the location of this hotel, close to lots of activities. Unfortunately the suite was not as advertised. The second room was dark with stained furniture and stained carpet.The bathroom door was a pocket door which was stuck most of the time. Dining choices were limited to an expensive restuarant and a bagel shop. Any internet access was $10/day. We will not return to this hotel again.

The Hotel is located in Mission Park convenient to Sea World and the Oceanfront. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves delicious food and is non pretentious and casual like San Diego. The pool are looks beautiful. Stayed in a Suite near to the marina. In the summer time the sound of the many boats starting their engines early in the morning is going to wake guests. This hotel is recommended for visitors to San Diego.

A friend and I traveled to San Diego for a 2 day event at the Sports Arena. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay as it was close to the arena. We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful property with spectacular views of the harbor. The pool was at the center of the hotel and had water slides and lush landscaping surrounding it. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise as the food was great, the wait staff attentive and once again, the views were beautiful. The rooms had been tastefully updated and were fresh and clean. The workout facility overlooked the harbor which made excercising a more pleasant experience than usual. All of the people that worked there were friendly and professional. The only thing that we regreted at times was not getting a car as you need one to get most anywhere and the cab rides were somewhat expensive. I would definitely stay at this property again.

The hotel was centrally located and the pool and the courtyard was great. Our room was nicely updated and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can also see the fireworks from SeaWorld in the evening. The only con was the $20 per day parking fee which is a bit pricey. There was also no casual dining option inside the hotel. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.
