  For the price, the hotel is one of the cheaper in the vicinity of Legoland. It is easy to find, and the front desk is friendly. However, it is very loud (near the freeway), and the carpets are filthy. Our feet smelled disgusting after a few minutes of walking around the room. I had to keep telling the kids to stay on the bed and not walk around the room. I don't think I could recommend the hotel to anyone.

  I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was inviting and very clean. Included was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was close to the freeway so it was convenient to come and go. Though the location is close to the freeway, we did not hear the traffic in our room. Excellant value for the price.

  Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Simple "continental breakfast" with pkg'd sweet rolls, juices and coffee. Nice pool. Close to I-5, our only negative comment is that traffic noise was very audible from our room. Very close (2 miles, the long way--- beautiful drive) to LEGOLAND, kid friendly, nice family restaurant close by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Close to Carlsbad Beach. Bed was fairly comfortable, room size was reasonable, not cramped. Overall stay was FABULOUS! We would definitely stay here again, the price was right. Front desk staff was friendly and informative about area restaurants, directions, and local attractions. No complaints!
