The Sunspree was a great place to stay. It exceeded our expectations in several ways. The entire hotel staff was very friendly professional courteous and helpful. The exchange rate was almost as good as the banks to the point that we never went to a bank to exchange money. The hotel was very clean and the maid service was outstanding. A tip of * pesos #40about *#41 per day to the maid gave us that quotextraquot service although tipping is not necessary. The view including the sunset by the pool was awesome. About one block south of the hotel is a restaurant called Carlos and Lucias. They by far had the best food for the price of any place we ate although the other restaurants were very good also. Carlos and Lucias is a must try though and we suggest the Shrimp Fiesta for 2 at least once. Its a bit pricey but well worth it. For tours we recommend King David Tours. They are on time and very professional and the Stone Island tour is the best bargain. Their guides are great. The in-room safes are very safe and we will take our laptops etc. next time. They even have hotel security on duty. We were extremely pleased and will definitely stay here again.

This was our first time at the Holiday Inn, and we it is a very nice Hotel. The staff is very friendly,and helpful. The Pool area is beautiful! Get a Ocean Side room ,it is well worth the extra money. We would stay here again!

Beautiful! * Excellent pool, and view * Staff was very friendly and courteous * Happy hour 4-7pm 2 for one on all drinks for like 30 pesos * Free locking safe in room! * No hidden price charges at all! * Food, not exotic, but fair price and quality is very good. * Waiters eager to please! * Only minor thing, bring your own sunscreen, as it is way over priced in their little gift shop, all else within reason. * In house tour desk. * Great little coffe bar to have a cafe and watch the waves roll in. * I felt rejunvinated after 4 days there. * Close to other attractions, and a great restaurant across the street.
