  This hotel was great for the money. Its in a great location about a block away from the beach and right next to I-5. The breakfast room is pretty good and the employee was working really hard to keep it clean and fully stocked. The bed was really not to comfortable but the room was really clean. Next time I travel to San diego I will stay at this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

  Hotel was easy to find, clean, and free breakfast was great. Only problem was with reservation which I stated 3 children and two adults, and we were put in a room with two queen beds with no room for a roll out. The front desk person was very helpful and switched us to a suite to accommodate our family. I am not sure who made the mistake, whether it was La Quinta or Travel Website. All in all I would stay there again, no worries The kids did mention that the roll out bed and the pull-out couch bed were not comfortable.
