February 2011 As usual we had a fabulous time we loved the south pool and the waiters and we love the beach and the vendors. We took our whole family it could not have been better. No worries while you are there. Everything is fabulous.

We stayed at Pueblo Bonito for one week with our two daughters (21 and 16). The hotel is just outside of the golden zone, so it takes some time to get everywhere. Though, a lot of good restaurants are around this hotel. And if you want to go to old city you can take a city bus that is cheap or open taxi. The beach is great -- fine sand and clear water. A lot of water sport activities. Some vendors approached us on the beach but they weren't very pushy. We bought some fruit from the fruit vedor (very funny and clean character) and enjoyed freshest fruit right on the beach every morning. We also had lunch without getting up from our lounge chairs on the beach. Every day is different cocktail of the day, which was 2-for-1. The service in the hotel is absolutely wonderful. All staff is very friendly and go out of their way to please you. Hotel restaurants are great. We had very pleasant New Year celebration at Las Palomas with live music and fireworks. As for the room -- we stayed in the luxury suite which had separate bedroom and big living room with the sofa bed where our daughters slept. The view from the balcony was magnificent. Rooms are charming, decorated in old Mexican style and very clean. But bathrooms could be already updated. Also, beds are not the most comfortable in the world. And one more thing. The timeshare people ( we have read a lot of horror stories)... In the hotel we have been asked once if we want to go to presentation. The answer was NO and we have never heard from them again. Overall we had a great vacation and we would recommend this hotel!

The beach here is most excellent and the food great! The servers are all extremely attentive and nice...the rooms are good, we had a great view of the sunset every night and even saw the green flash! the kitchens are slightly dated and the bed situation was not the best as most rooms have 2 double beds but this did not detract much as we spent little time in our room any way...the BEACH!! it's like Waikiki in Mexico
