This is a quiet hotel off the beaten track. That can be good or bad, depending on your plans. After getting our room changed to have a nicer view, we ended up liking the place but we missed having a outdoor patio bar that would have been nice overlooking the bay or marina and were shocked awake about 2 a.m. from loud delivery trucks serving the kitchen. Self parking is $* a day in lots that were pretty spacious but the keycard system left a lot to be desired. This is not a hotel in the heart of anything, but sometimes that makes for the best vacation,

My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the hotel staff was nice and the view was great. I loved the patio chairs and sitting outside. Very nice walking path next to the bay with an excellent view of the city. I would definitely stay there again.

MY STAY AT THE HILTON-SAN DIEGO WAS GREAT, THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE, THE ROOM WAS NICE WITH A GREAT VIEW. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN. THE ONLY THING I WAS DISSATISFIED WITH WAS THE PERSONNEL IN CHECK IN, I FELT THEY COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE FRIENDLIER AND GRACIOUS, ESPECIALLY IT BEING OUR FIRST TIME. WE ORDERED ROOM SERVICE AND THE GENTLEMAN WHO BROUGHT IT TO US WAS GRACIOUS. OTHERWISE MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT AND HOPE THAT WHEN MY FAMILY DOES RETURN TO VISIT THAT THE CHECK IN DESK PERSONNEL WILL BE MUCH GRACIOUS.

We stayed at the Hilton Harbor Island. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the Marina. Staff was very courteous at checkin and informative about the resort. Housekeeping was quick and silent while doing an excellent job. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.
