  We've stayed here before, the rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The hotel has been around for some time but they have obviously updated furniture and such as they are very nice. The only negative I had was the wireless interenet is weak if your room is not near the center where the office is located. Would we use this again, definitely, we like the feature of walking the beach with out having to drive. Several nice restaurants next door and del mar is a quaint little town. The local commuter train track is across the street and some may not care for that noise but it didn't bother us.

  THe motel was a motel, but the service from the moment I checked in, to the moment I left was awesome. The Motel is not right on the beach. IT IS THE BEACH! I was able to step outside and see it. Walked downstairs and my feet were in the sand. It was great. STAY HERE!!! The room was nice and large, the bathroom was a little dated, but it worked. I would have liked maybe 4 or 5 pillows, not 3, but im a pillow guy!

  I stay here all the time. it's close tothe beach and to some nice resturaunts. just take the coaster train to downtown san diego. very nice place.
