- Terribel non-exsistant beach - Sunquest sucks, Flight Center no help. - Bad food, no worth while activites all boring and low budget - getting street performers to do it....just sad... - This is a 2.5 star even for Mexico. - I do not whine - but trust me the rooms are the worst - no blankets, no face towels, no bath mats. - The biggest crap is the food and the lack of any details from staff and the total lack of service from SunQuest. - This is not a hotel - it is a TimeShare facility. - Rip - Off - No budget - I think it is in finacial difficultly as they were having meeting with all the Time Share people who were complaining as well.... - Anyone who gives this a high rating is a worker, Timeshare owner, or got such a smoking deal....I have stayed at 3 stars before that had better food and entertainment....so I am not some stuck up and hard to please person. - But you do not get what you paid for!!!!!! - Never again with SunQuest, this hotel or Flightcenter

My husband I loved our 15 day stay at the Pelicanos Grand!! We made so many new friends on our stay which we are still in contact with to date. Vacationed 1 year ago...and cant wait to return!! The staff couldnt have been any more helpful friendly the food was good...not excellent but very good for the money. A short cab or bus ride to the city was nice to enable us to enjoy some of the local restarurants and sites! This hotel is on a smaller scale which we enjoyed...no golf cart or mini bus rides to get around the property!

From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing! While waiting at the front desk to check in we were offered pina colada's, got offered a room of our choice and were escourted (bags in tow) to our room. The room was basic, big bed, night stands separate bathroom and sink, very basic but for the cost i could see the value in what we got. The bathroom is small the tub/shower was a half tub but still very comfortable. The all inclusive made it worth the while the food was pretty good, we were given passes to their Italian restaurant on the other side fo the propery no extra charge and we had nightly entertainment on the property at no charge from karaoke, to Lantin Nights dancing to a variety show! A lot of fun for the amount of money we paid. The resort also offers a lot of activities both for family and individual from jet skiing to parasailing to other tours they offer, and reasonably priced (in US currently from 30-50 dollars per person). It is located between the airport and the romantic zone of downtown Puerto Vallarta so be prepared for a walk or short bus or cab ride. Would definitely stay again but upgrade to the club or members section of the resort! Would be well worth the extra money. Go stay and have a wonderful time!

I spent 10 days there, the hotel staff was friendly and accomadating. Rooms were clean we were up on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The infinity pool was fantastic. The hot tubs were not working very well and were not that clean. They had an internet room where one can check email and send email but who needs a computer that much when you are vacationing? I would get the all inclusive if and when I go again. Food at the hotel was good.

If you don't mind employees coming into your room at any timne of the day or night then you might feel at home. When you complain at the front desk they act like you are crazy. Us???? We wopuldn't do that??? Even had employees taking pictures of us. That adjacent room is also where they would ebter un-announced. Make sure your valuables are in the safe! Get use to eating the same food every meal as they sure don't dispose of left overs. You just get them in the next meal even if it means mixing it in with other food. Staff is very rude and they don't keep the locals out of the resort. They are right on the site trying to srll you anything???? Not clean at all. If you are on a budget and don't have too many valuables then it's a way to go. But I would not recommend it to even my enemies! The newer section is the worst. Stay somewhere else. It will save you the vacation from hell!
