The Hotel Playa Mazatlan was very clean & comfortable. We especially liked the location. It's whithing walking distance to shopping,resaurants & the bus stop. The staff was friendly & efficient. We will defintiely stay there again.

Well, once again I decided to stay in what is quickly becoming my best choice for a hotel when in Mazatlan, Playa Mazatlan Hotel. I have enjoyed every one of the stays at this hotel and this last one was memorable. I travel to Mazatlan quite often to visit family and have stayed in just about every one of the better hotels in Mazatlan. Sure, some of them are very luxurious but as you can expect, very expensive. So as a value for my dollars, Playa Mazatlan has proved to be the best deal. All of my previous stays had been on the northern side of the hotel which is very nice but on this last stay they put me in one of the rooms to the south of the hotel, I had an opportunity to see a beautiful side of the hotel grounds I had not seen before, we loved it. As always, we went dancing in the evening to the sweet music played there that many people from other hotels come to enjoy and dance to. The food was great as always and the personnel very professional and friendly throughout the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that desires clean, comfortable accommodations for a very reasonable price!

My wife and I enjoyed are stay, the best parts were the heated salt water pool, clean, and friendly service. Bad parts were the hard beds and pillows, really hard plastic lounge chairs, and late night music from the oyster bar next door.

We have been visiting Mazatlan for the past 25 years amd we have visited all the major hotels in the area and without a doubt the Playa is the only one we could ever stay at. The entire staff is helpful, friendly and they go out of their way to take care of your needs. They may be an older hotel but they have by far the largest beach front and they are constantly doing upgrades on the hotel. Go, stay at the Playa, you will not be sorry....
