Very private beautiful pool at night the ocean sounds come though the patio doors everyone is friendly very clean. cant swim in ocean at hotel due to the heavy wave very dangerous also you have walk up a hill to get to hotel but they have drivers going up and down the hill.

At one point in time this hotel must have been majestic, as the bones to the structure would lead you to believe that. But after staying in a room with a beautiful view and have the water run out brown from the faucets, the towel being the quality that you would use to mop the floor and no amenities, I will NOT return.

We stayed 17-14 May 2010. One bedroom two bath with full kitchen dining and living plus two balconies facing the Pacific. Excellent service at hotel. Happy hour 2-4 at the pool bar. Cant swim at the beach due to rip tides year round but great if you like to use the pools. Food was good at the restaurant and at poolside as well. Free parking for rental car and we drove to the beach about 20 minutes away with free parking to spend the day. You can walk across the street and be at the marina with shopping and restaurants in five minutes. Gym and spa not open right now so we were able to use the facilities next door at Playa Grande for a small daily fee. Older property--about 30 years old but clean and met our needs. Most of the time we were at the beach and pools--mostly just to the room for sleeping and breakfast. Couldnt beat the price * for the week.
