  I stayed at the Turret House while in Long Beach for a Conference. When my colleagues were spending 3 times as much to stay in generic hotels I finished the day by coming "home" to the Turret House. The owners are friendly and customer focused. The House is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are all decorated to a theme. Breakfast is Continental, not English but the choices were good and everything was fresh. Having complimentary beer and wine available is a great touch - especially if the guest is coming from a long day at a conference. The location is just a few blocks off the main street in Long Beach, a block from public transport and less than a mile to the Convention Center and the bar/restaurant area. Pets are welcome and there is parking available. The rooms are a bit tight, but that is what you get with a real Victorian house. There is a computer in the kitchen if you need it and free wireless internet in the house. Turret House is a great value and a comfortable place to stay. Thanks guys, I will see you again soon.

  The house is 100 years old and has been restored to its original beauty. It?s privately owned and operated. It has a very home like feel. It is tastefully done in a 19th century decor. We enjoyed our experience and we will be back.
