The Fiesta Americana in Puerto Vallarta is fantastic! The customer service is excellent and the views are amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean. We particularly enjoyed staying on the 9th floor, which offered, for a small fee, a daily continental breakfast and happy hour. The dining area also had music, TV, a computer for printing boarding passes, and a small library of books and magazines for loan to guests. We would definitely stay there again.

The first thing is that the hotel lost our prepaid vacation reservations. After an "intense search" front desk staff -- without explanation -- found them. Though the hotel was very nice, it was also overpriced! In addition to a high daily rate, they actually charged for in-room coffee and local direct dial calls. I had to make three requests to obtain an extension cord because there were only two outlets available in the room. No microwave. No in-room internet. Internet charges in the Business Center were three times higher than two local internet hotspots only a block away. Some staff reverted to "no English" when help was sought. The concierge could not seem to remember questions I had asked that she had committed to resolving.

I have been to Puerto Vallarta many times and this was the first and last time time I would stay at Fiesta Americana Hotel. It was the worst expirience I ever had. This hotel should be a one star hotel! The mattress was very uncomfortable. Could not have chairs on the beach, where the sun was, because they were concern that somebody would steal them. The Sun would not get to the swiming pool till around noon, so we waisted half a day waiting for the Sun to get to the pool. The food at the restaurant was horrible and very expensive. Best to go to town to eat! Looking for any entertainment? Forget it!.... you will not find it at Fiesta Americana. Best advise I can give: don't go to this place!

Every room has ocean view, very big and comfortable. This was the only hotel so far I got right bed and pillow to sleep. Right in the middle of hotel zone and down town, you can take the blue bus to everywhere. No need to take taxi.

Stayed here in March with my wife, sister-in-law and brother-in-law for their wedding anniversary. Had a great time. Good service and nice rooms. Grounds are very clean and the views were great. Good beach area.
