Clean, courteous and great location near Legoland

We found this hotel to be extremely clean. The staff really made the stay. The front desk employee bent over backwards to help us with places to eat, directions, etc. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast however they made sure everything was stocked throughout the dining time. The dining area was a good size to accompany all the hotel guests. There was a good sized refrigerator in the room too. The postage stamp sized pool was clean - no one but us used it.

Stayed for 2 nights in March with our 7 year-old. We were in the area to visit Legoland and the USS Midway in San Diego. The drive into San Diego was only about 30-40 minutes and not bad at all. The hotel itself was very nice . Modern decor, the room had a mini-fridge and microwave and a single serve coffee maker. The room was very clean and we did not have problems with noise. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel also has a very nice complimentry breafast in the mornings that was very good, big selection of foods, even hot items. My only complaints would be small parking spaces and the fact that the pool area was closed because of a bee problem (not the hotels fault). We would stay here again.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. It was really wonderful. We spent the day at Legoland with my children and this was only a short drive away. The person at the check in was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, updated and quiet. Our bed was super comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was so much more than expected - scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit and much more. We got all this at a great price.

My family enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. We had a double queen room which was of good size and very clean. The whole property is very well taken care of and the staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful. The breafast in the morning was also better then we expected. They had coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available all day long. We would stay there again.
