We came here twice in October and liked it so much we got married here in December! The accommodations are top notch and the staff is all very professional, courteous and helpful! All of our guests were blown away by the ammenities in their suites at the hotel. In fact, one wedding guest mentioned that he had been to Puerto Vallarta before and didn't really like the experience, but the Garza Blanca changed his mind about coming back again! We stayed in the 4 story penthouse only building where every suite had a jacuzzi and modern GE appliances, including wine chillers, washer/dryers, full kitchens, and more! Everyone said that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and one of the best vacations ever thanks to the Garza Blanca hotel and staff. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, visit the Blanca Blue restaurant for one of the few gourmet dining experiences in town. The chef is phenomenal. We are in our early thirties and travel almost every month all over the world. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in all year. The only reason I am giving a 4 for location is becuase you do have to take a taxi into town. Many parts of the beaches in PVR only have rocks and no sand, but there is a sandy beachfront at this hotel. This is more of an adult-only luxury environment, but the staff was very accommodating to our guests under 3 years old, even providing a crib for us.
